All health funds are welcome, and we also offer flexible payment plans for those without private health insurance.

Our Dentists

Dr Hilary Thean – BDS, MSc (Lond), FAMS

Principal Dentist

“A healthy set of teeth is a gift for life”

Dr Hilary provides General and Preventative Dentistry for all ages. She has a special interest in digital dentistry, dentures, geriatric dentistry, implants, crowns and bridgework.

Dr Hilary graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and obtained her Masters at the Institute of Dental Surgery at the University of London. She was a senior lecturer at National University of Singapore (NUS) and also taught at University of Western Australia (UWA). Dr Hilary has practiced for over 35 years in Singapore, London and now Australia.

Dr Hilary founded Ogilvie Dental Centre in order to give her friends and the local community access to the best modern dental care around. She wants nothing more than to see her patients leave her clinic with happy, healthy teeth and a confident smile.

Hilary also believes that patient education and oral health information is key. She says, “we can fix it but you have to partner with us to maintain it”. Clinic protocols at Ogilvie Dental Centre are designed around active maintenance of oral health and preventative care.

Dr Pat Foo – BDSc (Queensland)

“With children, making a connection to build trust is important. I speak childrenese :)”

Dr Pat graduated from the University of Queensland. She has worked as a dentist for over 30 years in both the private and public health sectors treating a wide range of patients of all ages and demographics.

Pat specialises in working with children, the elderly and those with special needs. She is a dentist with a passion for her community and a long history of involvement in youth development. She is well known by her patients and friends for her kind and gentle nature.

Pat speaks English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese. She is also working on an Auslan language course this year to better communicate with and assist the hearing or speech impaired.
