Dental Implants

A dental implant replaces the entire anatomy of your tooth, including the root.

Dental Implants

Constantly weigh the pros and cons.

Dental implants are a popular solution to the problem of missing teeth. Missing teeth can affect how you feel about your smile, the foods you eat and your oral health.

Unlike dentures or partials, a dental implant is firmly anchored to your jaw bone and feels like your own tooth. Conveniently, dental implants require the same care as your natural teeth – brushing, flossing and regular dental cleanings.

Dental implants also do not require alterations to your existing, healthy teeth. It is possible to support a dental bridge using a dental implant without altering your natural teeth, providing a more conservative approach to your treatment.

Do I Need Dental Implants?

Dental implants offer a long-term solution to replace your wisdom tooth. Wether it is a front tooth or a back tooth, losing your natural tooth can put your oral health at risk. Missing teeth place additional stress on your remaining teeth and often leads to damage. When you have missing teeth, you may find it difficult or even painful to enjoy the fresh, healthy foods you need for proper nutrition.

Loss of teeth also causes the jaw bone to shrink and may give your face a sunken appearance.
